I am the manager at Little Trinity Nursery. I have worked at Little Trinity since I returned from living in the USA, where I worked as a Nanny to three children. I started my employment as an unqualified assistant and after a year in that position I trained at college to gain a BTEC level 3 in Childcare. As part of this qualification, I went to work in the school in the Reception class for two years before moving back to the younger children and opening the Baby and Toddler rooms in 1999 and 2000. I then managed the 0 – 3 years until I became Nursery Manager of the whole department in 2002 and have remained in the same post to this day. I have over the years attended many more training opportunities and hold the position of SENCO and Safeguarding Lead for the nursery. I continue to thoroughly enjoy the work I do and take pride in being part of a great team that works hard to offer many opportunities for the children in our care.
I have always known that I wanted to work with children so as soon as I finished my exams at school I enrolled at college. I studied for two years and gained a BTEC level 3 Diploma in Early Years. I then started work at Little Trinity and now hold the Deputy Manager role. I thoroughly enjoy expanding my knowledge and understanding of the Early Years and attend lots of training to continue to learn about children’s learning and development. I also hold the position of Deputy Safeguarding Lead in the manager’s absence and adult and child first aid.
I started studying childcare as soon as I left school as my passion was to work with children. I initially completed a BTEC level 2 Children’s care, learning and development. I then gained employment at Little Trinity and continued with my studies whilst working and qualified with NVQ level 3 in Childcare. I love my job and was promoted to Deputy Manager in 2021. It is very rewarding to see children grow and develop their own personalities.
I started my career working in the banking industry where I stayed for eighteen years. Once having my children I decided to enjoy the experience of being a full time mum. I did this until my children started school. I then went to work in retail, again on the financial side. I joined the Little Trinity team as a finance administrator and haven’t looked back!
I have worked at Little Trinity after gaining my level 3 national diploma in childcare. I fully enjoy my job as no two days are the same. I enjoy watching the children grow and progress in their learning. I also gained my level 3 qualification in SENCO in the early years in May 2023.
After leaving school at eighteen I went to college to study childcare, my chosen career. I progressed through CACHE level 1 and 2 courses and then studied for two years, to gain a CACHE level 3 in children and Education. I then started working at Little Trinity Nursery and I have worked at the nursery for 11 years now. Throughout my time at both college and in my current role I have gained experience with working with children from 3 months to 7 years. I enjoy working with children to watch them learn and thrive. To support my role I also enjoy attending various training courses keeping me up to date on good practice.
I gained my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare in 2020 and gained two years’ experience at different settings, one of them being Little Trinity. When a permanent position became available I jumped at the opportunity and haven’t looked back since. I thoroughly enjoy working with the children and all of the team. Every day is different and this is such a rewarding and fun job.
I have worked in childcare for 11 years, gaining a level 2 and 3 qualifications alongside this. During my time in childcare I have enjoyed working on children's well-being in the early years, helping to bring calm and cosiness to children's play.
My love for children began at the age of nine when I became an Auntie for the first time and from then it bloomed. I started my childcare career in 2016 at a local nursery, completing a level 2 and 3 NVQ apprenticeship. once qualified I wanted to broaden my knowledge and use my own experiences and moved to Little Trinity in 2019 where i have flourished in my career, i have had many key children while working here and each child holds a place in my heart and its the most rewarding thing watching them flourish and grow under our care.
I have been part of the Little Trinity family for over ten years after leaving college. I studied for two years to qualify with a CACHE level 3 Diploma in Childcare. I thoroughly enjoy working with children, creating an environment where children can be individuals and flourish. It’s very rewarding watching each child grow and meet different milestones.
I have worked in the childcare sector since the age of 17 and soon qualified with a NVQ level 2 apprenticeship in 2004. I then joined the Little Trinity team and in 2010 I completed my NVQ level 3 apprenticeship. I took a short break while on maternity leave with my 2nd child and qualified as a Childcare assessor in 2015. In 2016 I then returned back to Little Trinity with a thirst for training and have since signed up to complete my Level 5 qualification in Early Years. I love working with and supporting children to thrive and getting them ready for their next chapter in life!
I started working in childcare in 2017, completing my level 2 and level 3 NVQ. I joined Little Trinity in January 2022 and I am thrilled to be part of such a kind and caring team. I really enjoy working with children giving them the care they need to thrive, as well as aiding them in their development and learning.
During my work experience at Little Trinity I was given the opportunity to become a member of the team on a full time basis. I have since completed my level 3 with the nursery and I have loved learning and working at the same time. Have also just completed a Level 5 Early Years Lead qualification and hope to develop my professional career. In my spare time I am an army cadet adult instructor and a first aid instructor. I love teaching children of all ages and adults too!
I studied childcare at GCSE level in High school before moving on to study for a Level 3 at college once I had left school. I have always wanted to work with children, after working within a school I joined the Little Trinity family in 2018 and haven't looked back. I love what I do daily, it's such a rewarding job!
I left school in 2016 and knew I wanted to have a career working with children. So I enrolled at college and got my NVQ level 2 and level 3 completed. I started at Little Trinity and enjoy being part of the team.
When I left school I went straight to college to study childcare where I completed my childcare, learning and development level 3 course. I have worked in nurseries since I left college in 2015 and worked at a few other settings before starting at Little Trinity. I love working with children, it is such a rewarding job!
For a number of years prior to my current role to that I worked in a Primary School as a Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Supervisor. I’ve loved working with a range of age groups but I’m so happy I made the transition to nursery. It’s such a precious age where they learn and change so much. It’s such a pleasure to watch them developing new skills and their own personalities and to be part of a great team.
For most of my working life I have worked with the elderly, then the opportunity arose to work within the nursery assisting the children at lunchtime and in the classroom, I should have done it years ago as I love my job.
Ted the Tortoise joined Little Trinity in April 2014 at the age of 6 years. He settled in quickly and soon became a favourite fixture in the classroom and a great talking point with the children.
They enjoyed watching him as he explored his enclosure, and after a few months Ted moved into a new bigger home, which the children helped to design and plan out the area so that he was happy and comfortable. The children love bringing him bits of food to eat and also love to help clean out his enclosure! As his enclosure is quite big he now lives in the nursery office but the children still come in daily to see him and still want to help care for him. In the summer months Ted goes outside and the children have great fun watching him as he explores his outdoor enclosure.
Ted loves to be on the move and is super fast once he is comfortable in his environment. And loves nothing more than to climb and try and get into places where he really shouldn't be! Ted the Tortoise is friendly and loves the children rubbing his shell or tickling him under the chin and he adores it when they present him with his favourite treat – a strawberry!
